Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Create realistic game assets such as vehicles, weapons, props
- Maintains consistent style under the direction of Lead Hard-surface Artist
- Works closely with the team to achieve high-quality outputs
- Other duties may be assigned
Skills:
- 3+ years of hard surface art creation experience from the game industry
- Expert game modelling skills (high and low poly) for vehicles, weapons or any props
- Working with supplied references, concepts or blueprints
- Solid comprehension of mesh topologies and optimisation techniques for games
- A highly critical and systematic approach to work and quality
- Strong technical thinking
Other requirements:
- Your portfolio must include outcomes such as vehicle models and props
- You should be a team player that works closely with the team
- Advanced written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines under schedules
- Expert – 3ds Max or Maya / Substance painter
