SGDA publishes updated Slovak Game Industry 2026 catalog

The Slovak Game Developers Association is releasing an updated version of the catalog dedicated to the Slovak game industry for 2026. The catalog contains an extensive list of active companies, outsourcers, currently developed projects, as well as information about schools, educational initiatives, and game-related events in Slovakia. The material also presents detailed economic and geographical statistics, employee information, and other quantitative indicators about the domestic game industry.

There are currently 80 active video game companies operating in Slovakia. Pixel Federation remains the largest video game company in Slovakia in terms of both turnover and number of employees. Other leading companies by turnover include PowerPlay Studio, Nine Rocks Games, Inlogic Software, Blue Brain Games, Gentlemen’s, Games Farm, SuperScale, BLUE FACES, and Noise Artillery.

The material published annually by the SGDA shows that dozens of games are being developed in Slovakia, ranging from independent projects by smaller studios and large free-to-play projects for mobile devices, to ambitious premium games on a larger scale.
