SGDA publishes updated Slovak Game Industry 2025 catalog
The Slovak Game Developers Association has released an updated version of the catalog dedicated to the Slovak game industry for 2025. The catalog contains an extensive list of active companies, outsourcers, currently developed projects or information about schools, educational initiatives and events related to games in Slovakia. The material also presents detailed economic and geographic statistics, employee information and other quantitative indicators about the domestic games industry.
Slovakia is home to 77 gaming companies, with the largest being the long-standing Bratislava studio Pixel Federation. Other major companies include QORPO, Nine Rocks Games, Superscale, and PowerPlay Studio. Bratislava and its surroundings concentrate 63.7% of all companies, while 28.6% are based in Košice and eastern Slovakia. The largest companies from the east include Inlogic Software and Games Farm.
The material published annually by the Slovak Game Developers Association shows that there are dozens of games being developed, ranging from independent projects by smaller studios, to large free-to-play projects for mobile devices, to ambitious premium games on a larger scale.
